A high-speed 3D side-scrolling endless runner. The player pilots the "Jupiter-2" spaceship through infinite cosmic loops.
The core loop revolves around a Risk/Reward mechanic: the player must dodge obstacles to survive, but is forced to take dangerous paths to collect missing crew members and break the loop.
MY KEY CONTRIBUTIONS
Level Design & Pacing
Level Assembly: Designed and assembled distinct level chunks (segmenti di livello) in Unity, focusing on obstacle readability and creating a challenging rhythm for the player.
Flow Control: Structured the sequence of obstacles to alternate between high-tension moments and recovery phases.
Playtesting & Tuning (The "Game Feel")
Movement Physics: Fine-tuned the spaceship's handling parameters (acceleration, inertia, and input responsiveness) to ensure the controls felt precise and fair.
Balancing: Iterated on the speed curve and obstacle density based on playtest feedback to avoid frustration spikes.
Documentation
Documentation Owner: Wrote the High-Level Pitch and the GDD, defining the core loop rules and the victory conditions (collecting crew members).
